EDUCATIONAL OBJECTS
"Forest Educational Team" operates in Żagań Forest District which comprises of:
- Forest chamber
- Educational route "Meet trees and shrubs"
The forest chamber exhibits forest management and forester works on the issue. The exhibition is divided into four main parts: forest breeding, forest protection, hunting and forest usage.
"Meet trees and shrubs" is an educational route outlined within the tree stand adjoining the headquarters of the Forest District. 300 metres long route has been equipped with information boards and its function is teaching recognizing particular kinds of trees and forest shrubs. At its end there is a place for leisure where the following boards are located:
- bird's alarm clock
- forest brushwood
- a fallen tree
- birds' main nutritional niche
- mushroom picking
Once the visit is complete the foresters invite you to a bonfire where you can have a sausage and relax.
