Gradation-limiting agricultural procedure
INFORMATION REGARDING PLANNED AGRICULTURAL PROCEDURES
USING PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCTS
WITH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF FOREST ENTRY
Forest District Żagań informs, that druing date from 25.04.2023 to 30.04.2023 on forestry department Łozy area, between towns: Iłowa and Łozy, there will be taking place agro-avation rescue procedure which goal is to limit pine forests insect pests - Pine beauty gradation (Dendrolimus pinii L.).
Agro-aviation rescue procedure will be conducted with aeroplane by using plant protection agent - Mospilan 20 SP with dosage: 0,3 kg/ha
Procedure will cover a total of 865 ha of Forest District area.
A temporary ban on entry to the forest will be introduced in the areas covered by the planned operation (Ustawa z dn. 28 września 1991 r. o lasach, art. 26 ust. 3 pkt. 3 Dz.U. z 2022 r. poz. 672 z późn. zm.). The duration of the ban: 26.04.2023 - 12.05.2023.
The aim of the operation is to reduce the population of harmful insects capable of mass (gradual) appearance, which may threaten the sustainability of the forests.
